What Switzerland requires for a cosmetic made abroad
Switzerland does not apply the EU regulation directly: cosmetics fall under the FDHA Ordinance on Cosmetic Products (OCos). Each product must have a designated manufacturer or importer, who may appoint in writing a representative with a Swiss address, and its label information must appear in at least one official language. Morocco and Switzerland are linked by the Morocco–EFTA free trade agreement.

Can a cosmetic made in Morocco be sold in Switzerland?
Yes, if it complies with the FDHA Ordinance on Cosmetic Products (OCos): a designated manufacturer or importer is responsible for the product on the Swiss market, and the mandatory label information appears in at least one official language.
Do I need a representative in Switzerland?
The manufacturer or importer may appoint, by written mandate, a representative with a Swiss address, who then takes over its obligations. We provide that representative with your products' documentation.
