Our laboratory is certified by Bureau Veritas to ISO 22716:2008 on good manufacturing practice for cosmetics and ISO 9001:2015.
GMP stands for “Good Manufacturing Practices” and is a European certification attesting to compliance with good manufacturing practices. In this way, we guarantee that our cosmetic products are fit for use and meet all requirements in terms of safety, quality and efficacy.
The Carmel Cosmetics Las laboratory is registered with the Ministry of Health and the ONSSA, and is certified organic by CCPB in accordance with European Union CE and USDA standards.

It all depends on the size of your order. However, based on our manufacturing experience, small and medium-sized orders take about 3 weeks from design approval. You will be notified of the completion date as soon as your project has been validated.
Water is a key ingredient in the manufacture of cosmetics. For example, a skin care cream may contain 60 to 85% water, and sometimes as much as 90%. At Carmel Cosmetics Labs, we’re committed to excellence. Our manufacturing unit is equipped with a double osmosis water demineralization, purification and sterilization system with UVC filter and daily water conductivity monitoring. In this way, we guarantee the highest level of quality for your products.
Pricing is a brand choice. As a manufacturer, we do not provide individual product prices to retailers. Even if you sell the same formula, you can address different target audiences.

At Carmel Cosmetics Labs, ethics are at the heart of our processes. We automatically sign confidentiality agreements with customers who have industrial or intellectual property to protect.
The use of ingredients in our formulations goes through a number of stages that enable us to guarantee the best quality to your end customers, including ingredient origin, technical data sheets, safety data sheets, challenge tests, stability tests, etc… We cannot automatically accept these ingredients, and they are subject to special analysis by our R&D team on a case-by-case basis.

Please note that our machines automatically sterilize the packaging. The choice of packaging on the Moroccan market remains limited in relation to the aspirations of cosmetics entrepreneurs, so we are always calling on our suppliers to diversify their catalogs so as to always offer our customers something new. Nevertheless, we can offer our experienced customers the possibility of importing unique packaging with local support. This procedure can be time-consuming and costly, which is why we recommend that our novice customers position themselves on packaging tested in their target markets.
Yes, we can offer secondary packaging services to our customers, including the option of plastic packaging.
We know that everyone creates differently. That’s why we accept a wide variety of file formats: For logos, we recommend .PNG files with a transparent background, but we also accept .SVG files. For images, please send us high-resolution images.
For completed label designs, please send us .PDF files containing all the fonts used on your labels and incorporating all the images. We also accept . Ai files.
You need to register your trademark with the intellectual and industrial property protection agency of the country where your trademark will be marketed (OMPIC in Morocco). We accept no liability for any infringement of the trademark by our customers or for the rejection of their products in the destination markets.
The simple answer is No, you are under no obligation to create a cosmetics creation company. You can create a cosmetics brand as an individual, an association, an EIG, etc? Nonetheless, we recommend that our customers with a view to professionalizing and exporting in this field set up their own cosmetics marketing and distribution company.
Our laboratory is registered as a manufacturing laboratory with the Direction des Médicaments et de la Pharmacie in Morocco, and is ISO 22716:2008 certified by Bureau Veritas in accordance with cosmetics Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). All our products are covered by certificates of analysis and reports endorsed by toxicologists, and filed with the Moroccan Anti-Poison and Pharmacovigilance Centre (CAPM) in charge of cosmetovigilance and the DMP.
Cosmetics are not registered with the FDA, but the FDA regulates cosmetics and their labeling. Claims to affect/modify the structure of the skin, hair or body are considered drug claims by the FDA. Any product making these claims will be considered an unapproved drug, and the sale of unapproved drugs is illegal. In addition, our laboratory is registered with the FDA under the voluntary registration program.
Yes, you can sell on Amazon. They will ask for this documentation. We can provide certificates of analysis (CoA) and safety data sheets (SDS) for your products.
We always refer to the CAPM in charge of cosmetovigilance in Morocco in our labelling, in addition you should always check the following points with your customers:
Combination – Using the wrong products together can cause irritation or rashes, for example, vitamin A and vitamin C.
Diet – Too much sugar, gluten and dairy can cause rashes or flare-ups.
Too many products – It’s not a good idea to incorporate too many new products into a routine. Instead, try to use one new product per month to avoid irritation. Allow your skin a full cycle of cellular renewal to adapt.
Allergy – Unknown allergy among ingredients. Always test products before use, and check the INCI list on labels. If burning or itching occurs, discontinue use. A slight tingling sensation is normal for some ingredients.
Application – When and how formulas are applied makes all the difference, for example not rinsing a cleanser completely or using a vitamin A during the day. Always check with your customers how they apply the products, and in what order.
We make every effort to ensure that your products and their labels comply with all requirements and regulations applicable in the country in which they are marketed.
With respect to the label or product descriptions, we cannot state that the product/formula makes a physical change to the skin, hair or body or that it affects the structure or function of the skin, hair or body (this would be a drug claim). We can only assert that it modifies the appearance of the skin and that the products are intended to cleanse, beautify, promote attractiveness or modify appearance (since these are cosmetic claims).

All labels must be printed in the official language of the country in which they are sold.
All orders are confirmed upon receipt of a bank transfer or payment of 70% of the total order amount to Carmel Cosmetics Labs’ bank account. For orders under 5000 Dhs, we accept payment in cash. However, due to a number of problems in the past, we no longer accept cheques.
Once the order is ready, the remaining 30% is also paid by bank transfer, deposit or cash before your products are delivered. At the customer’s request, a commercial invoice is issued for each order and sent with the products.
