Both terms refer to the aromatic water obtained by steam-distilling plants. We use hydrosol when it is neither diluted nor mixed with fragrances.
Does the hydrosol contain preservatives?
Yes. A hydrosol alone deteriorates quickly: we stabilize it with a preservative system validated by challenge testing and listed in the INCI.
