Who does what, market by market.
Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 requires every cosmetic product placed on the EU market to have a Responsible Person established in the EU, who notifies the product on CPNP. The UK has its own equivalent (SCPN) and Switzerland its own rules. We organise this with the distributor for each market.

Some skins redden. Others mark.
Classic dermo-cosmetics were developed for phototypes I to III. Europe’s pharmacy customers are more diverse than that, and on darker skin the same irritation leaves a brown mark that lasts for months.
Sublime formulates for phototypes I to VI, with actives chosen and dosed to keep irritation low.
The idea comes from dermatology itself. In 2002, Dr Susan Taylor proposed classifying skin by its tendency to mark after inflammation, not by its colour alone. Phototype Intelligence turns that proposal into formulation rules.
What the dermatology literature shows
See all sourceslarger melanosomes in darker skin, spread through the whole epidermis. The number of melanocytes is the same in every skin tone. Colour does not predict how skin reacts.

Who is the Responsible Person?
Not Carmel. For each market, the Responsible Person is organised with the distributor, and notifies the products on CPNP (SCPN in the UK). We supply the formula and safety information they need.
Who actually makes it?
We do. Carmel Cosmetics Labs develops and makes Sublime in its own ISO 22716 plant, running since 2020, with a team of 35 chemists, quality and regulatory specialists and a capacity of 3 million units a year.
Will it sell in my market?
Sublime serves the skin many of your customers have, at a pharmacy price point. It is in 1,000+ pharmacies and points of sale in Morocco and, through a distribution partner, Saudi Arabia.
What margin can I expect?
We share the catalogue and the distributor price list after a first call, with conditions set for your market.

Can Sublime be sold in the European Union?
Yes, with a Responsible Person for each market. Under Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, the Responsible Person notifies each product on the CPNP portal. We organise this with the distributor for each market and supply the formula and safety information needed. Carmel Cosmetics Labs is the manufacturer, not the Responsible Person.
Is the UK covered as well?
The UK has its own rules and the SCPN notification, also made by a UK Responsible Person. We organise it with the distributor, as for the EU.
Which languages are on the packaging?
Packaging languages are adapted to the regulatory requirements of each market.
What is the shelf life?
Every product has a shelf life of three years or more. Packs carry the period-after-opening (PAO) symbol.
Is exclusivity possible?
Yes, it can be studied for each market as part of the negotiation.
What do you provide to distributors?
The documentation needed to register and sell the products, and all our available marketing tools, from product visuals to the Sublime Doctors videos.
Can I start with only a few ranges?
Yes. Many partners start with Nutrilogy 5 and Contrasol, then add targeted ranges once pharmacists know the brand.
I want my own brand, not Sublime. Can you help?
Yes, through our parent company Carmel Cosmetics Labs, which develops and manufactures skincare for other brands at carmelcosmeticslabs.com.
