In Great Britain a cosmetic is placed on the market by a Responsible Person established in the UK and notified on the Submit Cosmetic Product Notification service (SCPN) before the first sale. We prepare the complete file and, on request, submit the SCPN notification for you.

Can a cosmetic made in Morocco be sold in Great Britain?
Yes. The UK Cosmetics Regulation applies to the product placed on the market, not to where it is made. Once your product has a UK Responsible Person, a Product Information File, a safety report and its SCPN notification, it is sold like any other cosmetic.
Do you file the SCPN notification?
Yes, on request. We prepare the full INCI list, the frame formulation and the product details, and can submit the notification on the SCPN service for you. Your UK Responsible Person stays named on the label.
Who is the UK Responsible Person?
Your company if it is established in the UK, or a UK Responsible Person you appoint. We prepare the complete file they need.
What has to be on the label for the UK?
The name and address of your UK Responsible Person, the country of origin, the ingredient list, the nominal content, the date of minimum durability or period after opening, precautions and the batch number. We design and print compliant labels.
Can the same products be sold in Northern Ireland and the EU?
Yes. Northern Ireland and the EU follow Regulation (EC) 1223/2009, with a CPNP notification. Our formulas are made to that regulation, so one product can serve both markets.
Are there customs duties between Morocco and the UK?
The UK and Morocco association agreement, applied since 1 January 2021, continues the tariff preferences. Preferential rates apply to products that meet the rules of origin, with the export documents and certificate of origin.
Do I own the formula?
With a custom formula, yes: you receive the full composition and we sign an NDA before we start. White label formulas are shared catalogue formulas that we adapt to your brand.
Are the samples free?
Yes. Samples of the formulas you shortlist are sent to you in the UK, and you validate them before production.
What is your minimum order quantity?
We keep the MOQ accessible. The exact quantity depends on the product and the packaging, and it is set with you in your quote.
