What is a cosmetic formulation lab?
It is a lab where formulators design the composition of a cosmetic product: choice of ingredients and their dosages, texture, fragrance, preservation. The formula is then tested (stability, packaging compatibility, safety) before it is produced. At Carmel Cosmetics Labs, formulation and manufacturing take place on the same site, in Aït Melloul (Greater Agadir).
Do I own my formula?
Yes. You receive the full composition of your formula, with the percentage of each ingredient, the INCI list, the technical data sheets and the test results. You keep full control of your product.
Does my formula stay confidential?
Yes. We sign a confidentiality agreement with brands that have intellectual or industrial property to protect. Your formula is never resold or offered to other brands.
How much does it cost to develop a custom formula?
The cost depends on the complexity of the product, the actives chosen, the number of trials and the tests required. Starting from a formula in our catalog lowers the budget. Send your brief to receive a free, detailed quote.

Yes. Depending on your specifications, we formulate natural, vegan, paraben-free, sulfate-free or silicone-free products, featuring Moroccan actives such as argan oil, prickly pear, rhassoul or rose water.
What is the minimum quantity to produce my formula?
Carmel Cosmetics Labs offers an accessible MOQ. For a custom formula, quantities are defined with you according to the product and stated in your quote.
