{"id":44299,"date":"2025-06-03T08:57:30","date_gmt":"2025-06-03T08:57:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/carmelcosmeticslabs.com\/?p=44299"},"modified":"2026-10-02T23:45:08","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T23:45:08","slug":"cite-innovation-souss-massa-visit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/carmelcosmeticslabs.com\/en\/cite-innovation-souss-massa-visit\/","title":{"rendered":"A Strategic Visit to the Cit\u00e9 de l\u2019Innovation Souss-Massa"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Agadir \u2014 Today, Carmel Cosmetics Labs had the honor of visiting the Cit\u00e9 de l\u2019Innovation Souss-Massa (CISM), a center of excellence dedicated to applied research and technological innovation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Together with <strong>Dr. Aicha Hamdouch<\/strong>, we met with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ms. Imane Douzi<\/strong>, Director of the Cit\u00e9 de l\u2019Innovation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Prof. Hind Mouhanni<\/strong>, Head of R&amp;D for the Cit\u00e9\u2019s laboratories;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and representatives of the <strong>Cluster Souss Massa Promotion<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A meeting full of prospects<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aim of this visit was to lay the foundations for a structured collaboration between the academic ecosystem and industrial players in cosmetics. Among the areas explored:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identifying the R&amp;D needs of local cosmetics companies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Setting up <strong>applied research and technology transfer programs<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shared access to <strong>technical platforms<\/strong>, advanced equipment and scientific expertise;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Co-funding mechanisms for innovation projects<\/strong>, supporting the move upmarket of the \u201cMade in Morocco\u201d label.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Toward collaborative, locally rooted innovation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At <strong>Carmel Cosmetics Labs<\/strong>, we believe the future of Moroccan beauty depends on <strong>a stronger link between scientific knowledge, natural resources and industrial excellence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Cit\u00e9 de l\u2019Innovation Souss-Massa<\/strong> is a central player in this effort, fostering synergies between laboratories, start-ups, cooperatives and industrial SMEs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A shared vision for the future<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We applaud the quality of the discussions, the availability of the scientific teams, and the shared commitment to an innovative, sustainable and competitive Moroccan cosmetics industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Next steps:<\/strong> formalizing the partnerships, defining pilot projects and launching the first joint R&amp;D actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you to all our partners for their warm welcome and their commitment to building the future of the Moroccan cosmetics industry together!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Agadir \u2014 Today, Carmel Cosmetics Labs had the honor of visiting the Cit\u00e9 de l\u2019Innovation Souss-Massa (CISM), a center of excellence dedicated to applied research and technological innovation.
